From Rovaniemi or Kuusamo Airport, take a bus to Salla. From Salla, you can take a connecting bus towards Hautajärvi. The Karhunkierros Express operates from Kuusamo Airport to Sallatunturi, stopping at Arctic Circle Hautajärvi; book tickets in advance via Matkahuolto. Bus tickets from Kemijärvi to Sallatunturi are available via VR's online store or Matkahuolto.
