Car
From Pyhä-Luosto National Park, head south on Route 4 (E75) towards Rovaniemi. After approximately 70 km, take the exit toward Ilomantsi on Route 6. Continue on Route 6 for about 160 km, following signs for Ilomantsi. Once you reach Ilomantsi, follow Petkeljärventie road, which will lead you directly to the entrance of Petkeljärvi National Park. The total drive time is around 3 hours and 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Public Transportation
From Pyhä-Luosto, take a bus to Rovaniemi. The bus ride takes about 1 hour. From Rovaniemi, you can catch a train to Joensuu, which takes approximately 2 hours. Once in Joensuu, you will need to take a bus to Ilomantsi, which takes about 1 hour. After reaching Ilomantsi, you can either walk or take a taxi to Petkeljärventie 61, the entrance to Petkeljärvi National Park. Make sure to check the bus and train schedules in advance as they may vary.
