From downtown Jacksonville, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the JTA bus route 23 towards 'Kirkwood'. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. You will need to get off at the stop at 'Fort Caroline Rd & Monument Rd'. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles heading east on Fort Caroline Rd. The entrance to Fort Caroline National Memorial will be on your left.

If you’re starting from downtown Jacksonville, you can rent a bike from a local bike-share program. Head east on Bay Street and cross the Main Street Bridge. Continue onto Atlantic Blvd and follow it until you reach Fort Caroline Rd. Turn left onto Fort Caroline Rd and continue straight for about 2 miles. Fort Caroline National Memorial will be on your right. Please ensure you have a bike lock to secure your bicycle during your visit.

If you're near the Jacksonville Landing, start by walking towards the Main Street Bridge. Cross the bridge and once you're on the other side, continue straight onto Atlantic Blvd. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Fort Caroline Rd, and walk for another mile. Fort Caroline National Memorial will be on your right. This route is approximately 4 miles and will take you about 1.5 hours to walk.
