Car
From St. Petersburg Beach, head east on Gulf Blvd toward 75th Ave. After about 3 miles, take a right onto I-275 N. Continue on I-275 N for about 10 miles. Take exit 16 for US-19 S toward Pinellas Park. Merge onto US-19 S. Continue for about 5 miles and then take the exit for 54th Ave S. Turn left onto 54th Ave S and follow it until it ends at the Fort De Soto Park entrance. Once there, pay the entrance fee (approximately $5 per vehicle) and follow the signs to the boat ramp.

Public Transportation
Take the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) Bus Route 18 from St. Petersburg Beach to the nearest bus terminal. From there, transfer to Bus Route 59 heading towards Fort De Soto Park. After arriving at Fort De Soto Park, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the ferry terminal, as public transportation does not extend directly to the ferry. The ferry to Egmont Key costs around $15 for a round trip.
