Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Annecy train station, exit the station and head towards Rue de la Gare. Walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach the Pont des Amours (Lovers' Bridge). Cross the bridge and continue along the lakeside promenade. After approximately 600 meters, you will reach the stunning Place Sainte-Claire. From there, take Rue Sainte-Claire, and you will find the Centre historique at 2 Rue Sainte-Claire, just a short walk away.

• Public Transport - Bus

  If you prefer to take the bus, head to the nearest bus stop from your location. Look for buses that head towards 'Centre Ville' or 'Vieille Ville.' Buses such as line 1 or 2 frequently run this route. Once you arrive at the stop 'Place de la Mairie,' exit the bus, and walk towards Rue Sainte-Claire, where the Centre historique is located at number 2.

• Biking

  For those who enjoy biking, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental stations around Annecy. Start from the lakefront and follow the bike path along the lake to the town center. Once you reach the historic district, park your bike at one of the bike racks available. From there, you can easily walk to the Centre historique located at 2 Rue Sainte-Claire.

• Walking from the Lake

  If you are near the Lake Annecy, walk towards the old town by heading northeast along the lake. Follow the path to the Pont des Amours, then cross the bridge. Continue straight along the Rue du Paquier until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Rue Sainte-Claire, and you will arrive at the Centre historique at 2 Rue Sainte-Claire in just a few minutes.
