To reach Pas des Bœufs from La Rochelle by bicycle, start at the Vieux Port area. Head towards Rue de la Fonderie and take the cycle path that runs along the coastline towards the Île de Ré. Follow the path through the beautiful scenery of the coastline until you reach the bridge to the island. Cross the bridge and continue on the cycle path along the D735 road towards Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré. Once you reach Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré, follow the signs to Pas des Bœufs, which is located at 5J9G+J3. The entire ride should take approximately 30-40 minutes.

Public Transport
From La Rochelle, take bus line 3 from the central bus station, Gare Routière, towards La Rochelle - La Pallice. Ride the bus for about 25 minutes and get off at the stop 'La Flotte'. From there, transfer to bus line 18 heading towards Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop 'Pas des Bœufs'. The total travel time should be around 50 minutes. Check the bus schedules for the most accurate times.

For those who enjoy walking, start at the Vieux Port and take a leisurely walk towards the ferry terminal. Board a ferry to Île de Ré. The walk on the island is about 8 km and should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace.
