From Nîmes city center, walk to the Nîmes Gare Routière (bus station). Take bus line 30 towards Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Châteauneuf-du-Pape stop, walk along Avenue des Combattants until you reach Château des Papes, which will be on your left.

Head to Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes). Take a train to Avignon TGV station. From Avignon, transfer to bus line 30 towards Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the Châteauneuf-du-Pape stop and walk along Avenue des Combattants to reach Château des Papes.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Nîmes. Follow the cycling paths leading out of the city towards Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The route is approximately 13 km and will take around 45 minutes to an hour. Once you reach Châteauneuf-du-Pape, follow the signs to Château des Papes, which is prominently located in the town.

If you enjoy walking, you can take a leisurely route from Nîmes to Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Start from the city center and head towards the D981 road. The distance is about 13 km and will take approximately 3 hours. Follow the road signs towards Châteauneuf-du-Pape and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you arrive, head to Château des Papes, which is located centrally in the town.
