Getting There

Walking
If you are near the Louvre Museum, start by heading towards the Pyramid in the courtyard. From the Pyramid, exit the museum and walk towards the Tuileries Garden. Once in the garden, follow the pathway straight ahead, keeping the Seine River on your left. Continue walking until you reach the end of the garden where you will find the Porte des Lions at the entrance of the Musée de l'Orangerie. This route is approximately a 10-minute walk.

From the Louvre Museum, you can also take the Paris Metro. Head to the Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre station (Line 1). Take the train in the direction of La Défense and travel one stop to the Tuileries station. Exit the station and follow the signs to the Tuileries Garden.
