Getting There

  • U-Bahn (Subway)

    If you're near Alexanderplatz, take the U-Bahn line U2 towards Ruhleben. Get off at the station 'Hausvogteiplatz.' From there, exit the station and walk straight for about 5 minutes. Turn right onto Am Festungsgraben, and you will see the Maxim Gorki Theater on your left at Am Festungsgraben 2.

  • S-Bahn (Suburban Train)

    From Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Central Station), take the S-Bahn line S3, S5, S7, or S9 heading towards Ostkreuz. Get off at the station 'Friedrichstraße.' From Friedrichstraße, transfer to the U-Bahn line U6 and take it in the direction of Alt-Tegel. Get off at 'Hausvogteiplatz.' Walk straight for about 5 minutes, then turn right onto Am Festungsgraben to find the theater on your left.
