Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, navigate to Gendarmenmarkt 5, 10117 Berlin. From Brandenburg, take the A10 autobahn toward Berlin. Merge onto the A115 and continue until you reach the A100. Take the exit toward Wexstraße, then merge onto Wexstraße. Follow signs for Potsdamer Platz and continue to Gendarmenmarkt. There are parking facilities nearby, but be prepared to pay for parking, which typically costs around €2-€3 per hour.

• Train

  For those using public transportation, start by taking a regional train (RE) or S-Bahn from your location in Brandenburg to Berlin Hauptbahnhof (central station). Once at Berlin Hauptbahnhof, transfer to the S-Bahn line S5, S7, or S75 toward Alexanderplatz. Get off at the Friedrichstraße station. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to Hugenottenmuseum. Exit the station, head south on Friedrichstraße, turn right onto Unter den Linden, and then left onto Gendarmenmarkt. The museum will be on your left. The train ticket will cost approximately €3-€4.

  If you prefer to take a bus, check for regional buses that connect your location in Brandenburg to Berlin. Buses operated by Flixbus or regional transport services usually stop at major locations in Berlin. After arriving in Berlin, you can take local buses or the U-Bahn (subway) to reach Gendarmenmarkt.
