If you are starting from Munich Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take the S-Bahn lines S1, S2, S3, S4, S6, S7, or S8 from the Hauptbahnhof station towards the city center. Get off at the 'Marienplatz' station. Once you arrive at Marienplatz, exit the station and walk towards the town hall (Neues Rathaus). From here, head southeast on Kaufingerstraße until you reach the intersection with Rindermarkt. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rosental, then turn left. Follow Rosental until you reach the entrance of Finanzgarten on your right. The entire journey should take approximately 20-25 minutes.

If you are in the nearby area, such as from the Viktualienmarkt, you can reach Finanzgarten by walking. Start at Viktualienmarkt and head northwest on Blumenstraße towards the intersection with Tal. Turn left onto Tal and walk until you reach the intersection with Sendlinger Straße. Turn right onto Sendlinger Straße and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rosental. Turn left onto Rosental, and you will find Finanzgarten a short walk ahead on your right. This walk should take around 10-15 minutes.
