If you're driving to Bacharach from central Taunus, take the B8 road towards the north. Continue on B8 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the exit for the A3 towards Köln. Merge onto the A3 and drive for approximately 15 kilometers. Take exit 47-Bingen towards Bingen. After exiting, follow the signs for B9 towards Bacharach. Stay on B9 for about 10 kilometers, and then follow the signs to Bacharach. Once in the town, look for parking areas near the center.

To reach Bacharach using public transportation from Taunus, first find your way to the nearest train station, such as Bad Soden or Frankfurt. Board a regional train (RB or RE) heading towards Bingen. After approximately 30-40 minutes, get off at Bingen Hauptbahnhof. From Bingen, transfer to the regional train (RB) that goes to Bacharach. The train ride from Bingen to Bacharach takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Bacharach station, you can walk into the town center, which is a short 10-minute walk away.
