Bus
From Chania, head to the central bus station located at 1866 Square (Platia 1866). Purchase a ticket for the bus to Omalos. Buses to Omalos run regularly, but check the timetable for exact departure times. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride as it takes you through the beautiful Cretan countryside. After approximately 45 minutes, you will arrive at the Omalos bus stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the Information Centre of Lefka Ori National Park, which is a short 10-minute walk. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the centre.

Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Chania to the Information Centre of Lefka Ori National Park in Omalos. Simply flag down a taxi or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. The journey will take around 35-40 minutes, and you should tell the driver to take you to 'Χιλοσκαλο, Ξυλόσκαλο, Ομαλός'. Make sure to confirm the fare before departing.

For the adventurous, you can hike to Omalos from Chania. Begin at the centre of Chania and follow the signs towards the Samaria Gorge. The trail is well-marked but be prepared for a challenging hike. It will take several hours to reach Omalos on foot, so ensure you have enough time and supplies. Once you arrive at Omalos, follow the signs to the Information Centre of Lefka Ori National Park.
