Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Kavala, take the E90 highway towards Thasos. After approximately 40 km, you will reach the ferry terminal at Keramoti. Board the ferry to Thasos, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Thasos, follow the signs towards Limenas and then towards Aliki. The archaeological site is located on the southern part of the island, approximately 15 km from Limenas. Look for signs directing you to Aliki, and make sure to park in the designated parking area near the site.

Public Transportation
From Kavala, take a bus to Keramoti (buses run frequently). Once you arrive at Keramoti, walk to the ferry terminal and take the ferry to Thasos (30-minute ride). After arriving on Thasos, you can take a taxi or local bus to get to Aliki. The taxi ride will take around 25 minutes, while the bus may take longer depending on stops. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times. Entry to the archaeological site may have a small fee, so be prepared with cash.

Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Limenas after arriving on Thasos. This will cost more than public transportation, but it will provide a direct and convenient way to reach Aliki. The taxi ride from Limenas to Aliki will take about 25 minutes. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey.
