From Heraklion city center, head to the central bus station (KTEL). Take a bus heading towards Agios Nikolaos or Sitia. The bus will take you along the coast and through some beautiful landscapes. Get off at the Vrachasi stop. From there, follow the signs for Milatos Cave, which is a short walk away. You may need to ask locals for specific directions, as the path may not be well marked.

You can easily find a taxi in Heraklion. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Milatos Cave in Vrachasi. The ride will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey or ask for the meter to be used.

If you are near the center of Heraklion and feel adventurous, you can walk to the bus station and take the bus as described above. The walk to KTEL is about 20 minutes from the city center. Once at the bus station, you can take the bus to Vrachasi as mentioned.
