Walking
If you are in the heart of Old Town Heraklion, start by heading towards the Old Venetian Harbour. You can ask locals for directions to the harbour if you're unsure. Once you reach the harbour area, look for the promenade that runs along the waterfront. Walk along the promenade towards the east, keeping the sea on your left side. After a short walk of about 5-10 minutes, you will see the Venetian Shipyards / Vechi on your right at Leof. Nearchou. The area is well-signposted, and you will enjoy views of the fortress and the boats in the harbour along the way.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you're further away from the harbour area, you can take a local bus that heads towards the Old Town. Look for bus lines that stop at 'Venizelos Square' or 'Platia Eleftherias'. The fare is typically around €1.50 for a single journey. From the bus stop, follow the signs directing you to the Old Town. Once you arrive at Venizelos Square, head towards the Old Venetian Harbour, which is a 10-minute walk. You can follow the same directions as mentioned above to reach the Venetian Shipyards.
