Getting There

Walking
From the entrance of the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion, head south towards the street 'Leof. 25is Avgoustou'. After about 200 meters, turn left onto 'Leof. Nearchou'. Continue walking straight for approximately 800 meters. You will pass various shops and cafes. Old Anchor is located on your right at 'Leof. Nearchou, Iraklio 712 02'. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes.

Public Bus
If you prefer to take public transportation, exit the Archaeological Museum and head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on 'Leof. 25is Avgoustou'. Look for bus numbers 1 or 2, which head towards the waterfront. Board the bus and get off at the stop called 'Kountourioti'. From there, it's a 5-minute walk to Old Anchor. Just head south on 'Leof. Nearchou' for about 400 meters, and you will find Old Anchor on your left. A single bus ticket costs about €1.20.
