If you are starting from the central plaza of Santa Rosa de Copán, walk south along the main street (Calle 1) until you reach the intersection with Calle 2. Turn right onto Calle 2 and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. At the T-junction, turn left onto Avenida 3. Follow Avenida 3 as it curves to the right and becomes Avenida 4. Continue straight for about 15 minutes. You will pass several local shops and restaurants along the way, which can be a good opportunity to grab a snack or ask locals for more directions. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for Monumento Los Sapos on your left. The landmark is situated in a small park area, making it a lovely place to rest and take photos.

From the central plaza, look for a local bus (called 'microbús') heading towards Copán Ruinas. These buses frequently depart from the main square, and you can catch one that displays 'Copán Ruinas' in the front window. The ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Copán Ruinas, ask the bus driver or passengers about the nearest stop to Monumento Los Sapos. It is a well-known landmark, so you should be able to find someone who can guide you. After alighting, walk towards the direction they indicate, which is usually a short walk of about 10 minutes.
