Car
If you're driving from Transdanubia, take the M1 or M7 highway towards Budapest. Follow signs for the city center (Belváros). Once in Budapest, follow the signs to Erzsébet tér. There are several parking options nearby, including underground parking at Váci utca and on-street parking. Be mindful that parking fees apply, generally around 300 HUF per hour.

From major towns in Transdanubia like Székesfehérvár or Veszprém, take a train to Budapest. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes approximately 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Budapest's Nyugati Railway Station, exit the station and take the M3 metro line (blue line) from Nyugati pályaudvar to Deák Ferenc tér (2 stops). From Deák Ferenc tér, transfer to the M1 metro line (yellow line) and travel one stop to Vörösmarty tér. From there, it’s a short walk to Erzsébet tér.

Bus
You can also take a bus from various towns in Transdanubia to Budapest. For instance, from Szombathely, the bus will take you directly to Budapest's Népliget bus station. From there, take metro line M3 to Deák Ferenc tér. Then transfer to the M1 metro line and go to Vörösmarty tér, followed by a short walk to Erzsébet tér.

Public Transportation (Tram & Metro)
Once you are in the city, you can also utilize the tram system. If you are near the city center, take tram line 2 along the Danube to the Jászai Mari tér stop. From there, you can walk across the Margaret Bridge or follow the riverbank to Erzsébet tér. Alternatively, you can use the metro as described above.
