Walking
From the center of Vác, head south towards the Váci Church. Once you reach the church, take a right onto the main road, and continue straight. Follow the road until you reach the bus station, which is a good landmark. From the bus station, take the bus that goes to Budapest. Make sure to check the bus schedules beforehand. The bus will take you directly to Budapest. Once you arrive at the bus station in Budapest, you will need to take the metro. Follow the signs to the metro station and take Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli Pályaudvar. Get off at the 'Déli' station. From there, you can either walk or take a tram to Színház u. 5-7, where the Carmelite Monastery is located.
Public Transport
Start your journey at the Vác train station. Purchase a ticket to Budapest. Trains frequently run between Vác and Budapest, and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Budapest's Nyugati station, exit the station and walk towards the tram stop. Take Tram 4 or 6 and ride for a few stops until you reach the 'Margit híd' stop. From there, transfer to Tram 19 or 41 towards 'Buda' and ride until you reach the 'Móricz Zsigmond körtér' stop. Finally, walk to Színház u. 5-7, and you will find the Carmelite Monastery.
