If you are traveling by car, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) along the East Fjords. From Egilsstaðir, head southeast on Route 1 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 93. Turn left onto Route 93 towards Höfn. Continue on Route 93 for approximately 50 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Hoffellsjökull, and take a right onto the gravel road leading towards the glacier. The parking area will be about 2 kilometers down this road.

To reach Hoffellsjökull via public transportation, take a bus from Egilsstaðir to Höfn. Check the schedules with the local bus company (like Strætó) for the latest departure times.
