Getting There

Walking
From the center of Grindavik, start at the main church (Grindavik Church) located at VPRJ+6CW. Head southwest on Aðalgata street towards the coast. Continue along the path until you reach the end of the street. At the end of Aðalgata, take a right onto the coastal path which will lead you along the coastline. Follow this path until you reach a trailhead leading to the Geldingadalir Volcano. The trail will be marked, and it's approximately a 45-minute walk from the church to the trailhead.
