From there, head southwest on Aðalgata until you reach the intersection with Hóllgata. Turn left onto Hóllgata and continue straight until you reach the outskirts of Grindavik. Look for a sign that indicates the walking path towards Grænavatn, which should be about a 30-minute walk. Follow the path, which will wind through the scenic landscape, and keep an eye out for natural markers that lead towards the lake. Stay on the marked trail until you reach Grænavatn.
