Look for signs indicating Route 923 towards Stuðlagil. Turn left onto Route 923 and continue for about 11 kilometers (approximately 15 minutes). Keep an eye out for a sign that says 'Stuðlagil'; this will indicate that you are nearing your destination. The parking area for Stuðlagil will be on your right-hand side. Please note that parking may incur a small fee.

    If you are using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from Egilsstaðir, which is the nearest town with bus services. Head to the Egilsstaðir bus station and take a bus towards Seyðisfjörður. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the stop for Route 923, which is approximately 25 kilometers (30 minutes) from Egilsstaðir. Once you disembark, you will need to walk about 5 kilometers (approximately 1 hour) along Route 923 to reach the parking area for Stuðlagil. Please check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary, and ensure you have cash for the fare.
