From Hveragerdi, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main road (Þjóðvegur 1). Look for the bus stop with a sign indicating bus services to Reykjavík. Take the bus number 51 or 52 towards Reykjavík. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Laugardalur stop in Reykjavík, which is the closest stop to the Reykjavík Park and Zoo.

After getting off the bus at the Laugardalur stop, walk south along the road (Laugardalur) for about 10-15 minutes. You will pass a few residential buildings and a small park. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of the Reykjavík Park and Zoo, which is well-marked. The park is located at 104 Reykjavík.
