Car
To reach Grasagarður Botanical Garden by car, start from the city center of Reykjavík. Head southeast on Lækjargata towards Hverfisgata. Continue straight onto Miklabraut (Route 41) and follow the signs for Laugardalur. Exit the roundabout onto Laugavegur, and then turn left onto Grasagarðinum. The Botanical Garden will be on your right. Parking is available nearby, and it is free.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, start by walking to the nearest bus stop. From the city center, take Bus 14 from Hlemmur bus terminal towards Laugardalur. Get off at the stop 'Grasagarður' which is located right outside the Botanical Garden. The bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedules for the most accurate departure times. A single ticket costs around 490 ISK.
