From Reykjavík city center, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading northeast out of the city. Continue on Route 1 for about 20 kilometers, then take the exit toward Mosfellsbær. Follow the signs for Mosfellsbær and merge onto Route 36. Drive straight for approximately 5 kilometers. Once you see the sign for Hvammsvik, turn left onto the road leading to the resort. The drive should take about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.

From Reykjavík, take the Strætó bus number 15 towards Mosfellsbær. The bus departs from the main bus terminal in Reykjavík. Stay on the bus for about 30-35 minutes until you reach the stop named 'Mosfellsbær'. From the bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach Hvammsvik Nature Resort & Hot Springs. If you have luggage or prefer not to walk, consider using a taxi from the bus stop to the resort, which should cost around 2,000 to 3,000 ISK.
