Walking
From the city center of Reykjavík, start at the iconic Hallgrímskirkja church. Head west on Skólavörðustígur street and continue straight until you reach the junction with Laugavegur. Turn left onto Laugavegur and walk straight until you hit the intersection with Barónsstígur. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront. At the waterfront, turn right and follow the path along the coast. You will pass by Harpa Concert Hall on your left. Continue along the coast until you reach the bridge at the end of the harbor. Cross the bridge and follow the road (Flugvallarvegur) towards the airport. The WWII Fuel Storage Area will be on your right at Flugvallarvegur 101, 102.
Public Transport
Start at the main bus terminal, BSÍ. Take bus number 14 towards 'Keflavík' and get off at the stop called 'Flugvallarvegur'. After exiting the bus, walk east for approximately 10 minutes along Flugvallarvegur road. You will see the WWII Fuel Storage Area at Flugvallarvegur 101, 102 on your left.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start at the Harpa Concert Hall. Head west along the waterfront bike path. After passing the Old Harbor, continue on the bike path until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and turn right onto Flugvallarvegur. Follow the road for about 2 kilometers, and the WWII Fuel Storage Area will be on your left at Flugvallarvegur 101, 102.
