Getting There

    If you are starting from the central area of Vesturbær, head east towards the main road, Sæbraut. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hringbraut. At this intersection, turn left onto Hringbraut and walk for about 500 meters. You will then see a bus stop called 'Hringbraut' on your left. Continue straight ahead until you reach the end of Hringbraut where it intersects with Aðalstræti.

    From Vesturbær, you can take Bus number 11 from the nearest bus stop. Get on the bus at 'Steinun' stop and ride it for about 5 stops (approximately 10 minutes) until you reach 'Aðalstræti'. After getting off, walk a short distance to the address Aðalstræti 10, where the Reykjavík City Museum is located. Please note that a single bus ticket costs around 490 ISK.
