If you are traveling by car, start from the Skaftafell Visitor Centre. From the Visitor Centre, head south on the main road (Route 1). After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see a sign for the Svartifoss Trail on your left. Park in the designated parking area. The trailhead begins here, and you will find clear signage guiding you to Svartifoss.

From the Skaftafell Visitor Centre, walk towards the parking area for the Svartifoss Trail. The trail starts just off the parking lot. Follow the marked trail for about 1.5 kilometers (approximately 30 minutes on foot). The path is well-maintained and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape as you approach Svartifoss.
