If you are driving, start from the Þingvellir National Park visitor center. Head east on the main road (Route 36). After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign for Peningagjá on your left. Turn into the small parking area designated for this scenic spot. From the parking lot, a short walk will take you directly to Peningagjá.

Public Transportation
Take a bus from Reykjavik to Þingvellir National Park. Buses are available from the BSI Bus Terminal. Once you arrive at the park, you can walk towards the visitor center. From the visitor center, follow the path east along the main road (Route 36) for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the sign for Peningagjá. There may not be direct public transport to Peningagjá itself, so be prepared to walk a little.
