Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're in Chandni Chowk, start by heading towards the main road, Chandni Chowk Road. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Netaji Subhash Marg. Turn left onto Netaji Subhash Marg and continue walking. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. After about 10-15 minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to the Red Fort (Lal Qila) on your right. Mumtaz Mahal is located inside the Red Fort premises.

  • Rickshaw

    If you prefer not to walk, you can hire a cycle rickshaw from any point in Chandni Chowk. Simply wave down a rickshaw and tell the driver 'Red Fort' (or 'Lal Qila'), as they are familiar with the location. The fare should be around ₹30-₹50 depending on traffic and how far you are from the fort. Once you reach the Red Fort, exit the rickshaw and enter the fort area, where Mumtaz Mahal is situated.
