Getting There

  • Train

    From Howrah Station, take a train to New Jalpaiguri (NJP). The journey takes about 12-15 hours. Once you arrive at NJP, you can take a shared jeep or taxi to Darjeeling. The shared jeeps leave from outside the train station and the drive to Darjeeling takes about 3-4 hours.

  • Shared Jeep

    After reaching Darjeeling, head to the jeep stand at the Chowrasta (the main square in Darjeeling). Look for shared jeeps heading towards Manebhanjan. The ride takes about 1 hour. Ensure you negotiate the fare if necessary.

  • Trek

    From Manebhanjan, you can either hire a local guide or follow the trekking path towards Singalila National Park. The trek is approximately 11 km and will take around 4-5 hours. Follow the marked trails and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Ensure you have adequate supplies, including water and snacks.
