Exit the library and head west on E 4th St towards Franklin St. Turn right onto Franklin St and walk north until you reach W 2nd St. Turn left onto W 2nd St and continue until you reach Lake Shore Dr. Turn right onto Lake Shore Dr and walk towards the beachfront. Continue walking until you reach 127 W Lake Front Dr. The Century of Progress Homes will be on your right.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Michigan City City Hall located at 100 E Michigan Blvd. Head west on E Michigan Blvd towards Franklin St. Turn left onto Franklin St and ride north until you reach W 2nd St. Turn left onto W 2nd St and then turn right onto Lake Shore Dr. Follow Lake Shore Dr along the coast until you reach 127 W Lake Front Dr. The Century of Progress Homes will be located on your right.

If you prefer public transport, start at the South Shore Line Michigan City Station located at 100 E 4th St. Board the South Shore Line train heading towards Chicago. Get off at the next stop, which is the Michigan City station. From there, walk to the nearest bus stop on Franklin St and board the bus heading towards the beach area. Get off at the Lake Shore Dr stop. Walk west along Lake Shore Dr until you reach 127 W Lake Front Dr. The Century of Progress Homes will be on your right.
