Keep following US-31 N for about 45 miles until you reach the junction with M-22 N. Take M-22 N and follow it for around 40 miles. When you arrive in Empire, Michigan, follow the signs to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, located at 9922 W Front St, Empire, MI 49630. There is a parking fee of $25 per vehicle for a weekly pass.
