Car
From the main visitor center at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, head northwest on M-22 N toward Glen Arbor. Continue on M-22 N for about 12 miles until you reach the intersection with Leland Road. Turn right onto Leland Road and follow it for approximately 3 miles. Then turn left onto North Manitou Trail. After about 1 mile, you will see the entrance to Clay Cliffs Natural Area on your right. There is no entrance fee for the natural area.
