Getting There

Car

From Ubud, head east on Jalan Raya Ubud towards Jalan Suweta. Continue straight for about 8 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Jalan Raya Sengkidu. Turn left onto Jalan Raya Sengkidu and follow the road for about 5 kilometers. You will pass through several small villages. Keep an eye out for the signs towards Karangasem and Jungutan, as you will eventually turn onto JG85. The Embung Pasar Agung will be located on your right-hand side. Parking is available nearby, and it's free.
Public Transportation

From Ubud, take a Bemo (local minibus) from the Ubud Market area heading to Amlapura. The fare is approximately IDR 30,000 ($2 USD). Inform the driver that you are going to Jungutan. The journey will take around 1 hour depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Jungutan, you'll need to take a local taxi or GoJek (ride-hailing app) for about IDR 20,000 ($1.50 USD) to reach Embung Pasar Agung itself, which is about 3 kilometers from the Bemo drop-off point.

You can also book a taxi or use a ride-hailing service like Grab or GoJek directly from your location in Ubud. Simply enter 'Embung Pasar Agung' or the address 'JG85+VR3, Jungutan, Bebandem, Karangasem Regency, Bali 80861' into the app. The cost should be around IDR 200,000 to IDR 300,000 ($14 to $20 USD) and the ride will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic.
