    From Ubud, head east on Jalan Raya Ubud (Jl. Raya Ubud) towards Jalan Monkey Forest. Continue on Jl. Raya Ubud for about 15 km until you reach the intersection at the T-junction with Jalan Raya Candidasa (Jl. Raya Candidasa). Turn right onto Jl. Raya Candidasa and follow this road for approximately 17 km. Once you reach the village of Kubu, turn left onto Jalan Raya Kubu and follow the signs for Puncak Gunung Agung. The road will lead you up a winding path to the parking area for Puncak Gunung Agung. Make sure to check for any parking fees upon arrival, which can vary.

    From Ubud, take a bemo (local minibus) to Amlapura. Bemos depart from Ubud's main terminal. The fare is approximately IDR 50,000 to IDR 75,000 depending on your bargaining skills and the time of day.
