Car
To reach Melo Village by car from Labuan Bajo, start from the main road in Labuan Bajo. Head east on Jalan Soekarno-Hatta towards Jalan Mutiara. Continue on Jalan Mutiara until you reach the junction. Turn right onto Jalan Trans Flores. Drive for about 13 kilometers. Look for signs indicating 'Melo Village' as you approach the area. Upon reaching the village, you will find parking options available. Note that you may need to pay a small parking fee.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, find a local 'angkot' (minibus) or take a shared taxi from Labuan Bajo. Head to the main angkot terminal located near the harbor. Look for an angkot heading towards Sano Nggoang. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Inform the driver you want to get off at Melo Village, and they will drop you off at the closest point. From there, you may need to walk a short distance into the village, so be prepared for this. The fare for the angkot is typically around IDR 20,000.
