From any point along the Historic Hills Scenic Byway, head towards Indianola, IA. If you are coming from the southern parts of the Byway, merge onto IA-92 W and continue for approximately 10 miles. If you are coming from the northern parts, take IA-65 S and then merge onto IA-92 W. Once in Indianola, look for signs directing you to Lake Ahquabi State Park. Turn onto 118th Ave and follow it until you reach the park entrance at 16510 118th Ave, Indianola, IA 50125. There is no entry fee for the park.
