Follow the signs for Ardrahan village. Once in Ardrahan, follow the signposts for Rathbaun Farm. The farm is situated on a 'little road' to the right and is well signposted. Ample parking is available for cars and buses. There are no tolls on this route.
Public Transport

From Galway, take the Bus Éireann Route 51 or an Irish Rail train to Ardrahan. The bus journey takes approximately 30 minutes and costs between €5 and €16. The train journey takes approximately 40 minutes and costs between €4 and €7. From Ardrahan village, a taxi to Rathbaun Farm is approximately €15 - €20. Taxis are not readily available at the train/bus station, so pre-booking is recommended.

From March to November, you can hand-feed newborn lambs, a truly memorable experience for all ages. Fintan shares his knowledge of the different sheep and cattle breeds, offering an educational and enjoyable tour. You might even catch a sheep-shearing demonstration or see the farm's Border Collie, rounding up the sheep.Frances and her team extend a warm Irish welcome, serving freshly baked scones, soda bread, and preserves, along with a pot of Irish tea. Guests can relax in the cozy cottage, chat with the family, and even try their hand at making scones.
