Driving
If driving from Donegal Town, head northwest on the N15 towards Killybegs, then take the N56 towards Glenties. Continue on the N56 for approximately 30 kilometers until the junction for the R261. Turn left onto the R261 and follow signs for Portnoo. As you approach Portnoo, watch for signs to Narin/Portnoo Viewpoint, located at RGRP+2Q, Lackagh, Portnoo. Parking is available near the viewpoint. Driving from Donegal Town to Portnoo takes approximately 38 minutes and costs about €6 - €10 for fuel.

Public Transport
To reach Narin/Portnoo Viewpoint via public transport, take a Bus Éireann bus from Donegal Town to Glenties. Check the Bus Éireann website for schedules and fares. From Glenties, a taxi is required to reach the viewpoint, as direct public transport is unavailable. The taxi ride takes approximately 15 minutes and costs around €15-€20. Alternatively, the Route 994 bus runs from Donegal to Portnoo five times a week, Monday to Friday, and costs between €1.00-€2.50.

Walking
If arriving in Narin by public transport, walk to Portnoo View Point. From the center of Narin, head west on the R261 towards the coast. After about 1.5 km, turn right onto Unnamed Rd. Follow this road, and the viewpoint will be on your left. The walk is approximately 20-30 minutes.
