Getting There

    From Glendalough, head north on the R756 road towards Laragh. Continue on the R756 for about 6 kilometers until you reach the junction with the R755. Turn right onto the R755 and continue for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach the village of Rathdrum. In Rathdrum, follow signs for the N11. Merge onto the N11 and head north. After about 25 kilometers, take the exit for the R118 towards Dublin City Center. Follow the R118 until you reach Island Bridge. The Irish National War Memorial Gardens will be on your left.

    From Glendalough, walk to the nearest bus stop and take Bus Route 183 towards Rathdrum. After about 20 minutes, you will arrive at Rathdrum station. From Rathdrum, transfer to Bus Route 133 heading towards Dublin City Center. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at the stop for Island Bridge. The Irish National War Memorial Gardens will be a short walk from there.
