Walking
Start from the center of Kinsale at the Kinsale Tourist Office located on Main Street. Head east on Main Street towards the junction with the R600 road. At the junction, turn left onto the R600, which is also known as the Cork Road. Continue walking on the R600 for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Kinsale Golf Club on your right. From there, take the footpath that leads you through the scenic countryside towards Mallow. Keep following the signs for Mallow and you will eventually reach the outskirts of Mallow town.

From Kinsale, make your way to the nearest bus stop located at the top of Main Street. Catch the Bus Éireann route 226 towards Mallow. The bus will take you directly to Mallow, and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Mallow, disembark at the main bus station in town. From there, walk north towards Castlelands, following local signage. Mallow Castle is located at Castlelands, and you should be able to see it from the main road.
