If you are starting from the main square of Assisi (Piazza del Comune), head east towards Via Bartolomeo Caporali. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via San Francesco. Turn right onto Via San Francesco and follow it until you reach the Basilica di San Francesco. From here, follow the signs directing you towards the town center. Continue along Via San Francesco until you reach the junction with Via Madre Terra. Turn left onto Via Madre Terra. The Basilica S. Rufino will be on your left-hand side at Via Madre Terra, 21.
