Start at the Basilica di San Francesco. From the main entrance of the basilica, head east on Via San Francesco. Continue straight onto Via della Rocca. After a short walk, you will reach the intersection with Via San Damiano. Turn left onto Via San Damiano. Follow this road for approximately 700 meters; you will see signs for Santuario San Damiano. The sanctuary is located at Via San Damiano, 7.

If you are starting from the Piazza del Comune, walk towards Via Portica. Continue along Via Portica until it merges into Via San Francesco. Follow the same route as above: continue onto Via della Rocca, then turn left onto Via San Damiano. Walk approximately 700 meters to reach Santuario San Damiano.

From the Assisi train station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop. You can take a local bus to the center of Assisi. Get off at the stop near the Basilica di San Francesco. From there, follow the walking directions provided above to reach Santuario San Damiano.
