From the central square of Assisi, Piazza del Comune, head southeast on Via San Francesco. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via dell'Indipendenza. Turn left here and walk until you reach the bus station (Stazione degli Autobus di Assisi). This is where you can catch a bus to Spoleto. Look for the bus with a destination sign that includes 'Spoleto'. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes, and you will arrive at the Spoleto bus station.

Upon your arrival at the Spoleto bus station, exit the station and head northeast on Via della Libertà. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Via S. Giacomo and then take a right onto Viale della Repubblica. Follow this road until you see signs for 'Inizio ciclabile Ex-ferrovia Spoleto Norcia'. It's about a 20-minute walk from the bus station.
