Walking
If you are in Città Bassa, head towards the Funicolare (cable car) station located at Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. From there, take the Funicolare to the top of the hill, which will lead you to Città Alta (Upper Town). This ride is free if you already have a Bergamo public transport ticket or costs around €1.30 for a single journey if purchased at the station. Once you arrive at the top, you will find yourself in a beautiful square. Walk straight ahead to reach Piazza Vecchia, which is the heart of Città Alta. Campanone is located at Piazza Vecchia, 8A.

Public Transport
If you prefer to take the bus, you can catch the bus line 1 from various stops in Città Bassa. Look for the stop ‘Piazza Marconi’ or ‘Piazzale della Libertà’. The bus will take you to ‘Piazza Vecchia’. The fare is approximately €1.50 for a single journey. After you disembark, follow the signs to Piazza Vecchia, where you will find Campanone.

For a pleasant walk, if you are near the main shopping streets like Via XX Settembre, walk towards the end of the street until you reach the intersection with Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. Continue walking uphill along Viale Vittorio Emanuele II until you reach the Funicolare station. Take the Funicolare up to Città Alta and follow the previous instructions to Piazza Vecchia.
