Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Sarzana, take the bus towards Luni Scavi - Via Falaschi (approximately 20 minutes). Upon exiting the Sarzana train station, turn left and walk alongside the station to find the bus station on your right. After getting off the bus, cross the road and take Via Appia; continue along it for about 100 meters. The museum will be on your left. Bus tickets cost around €1.50.

    From the A12 motorway, use the Sarzana or Carrara exit. Follow the signs for Marinella di Sarzana (SS1 Aurelia). After 5 roundabouts, follow the Luni Mare direction and continue for about 6 km on SS1 Aurelia. After the road signs indicating Luni, turn right onto Via Braccioli. The archaeological area of Luni will be on your left. Alternatively, from May 2019, the Museum can also be reached directly from the A12 motorway (without exiting the motorway) through two dedicated parking areas marked as “Antica Luni”, located between Sarzana and Carrara. Parking fees may apply.
