Follow the signs towards Chiesa di San Pietro Caveoso; Casa Grotta is nearby in Vico Solitario. Be prepared for some uphill and downhill walking on uneven stone streets. There are no specific costs associated with walking to Casa Grotta.

Matera is served by an urban bus network. From Matera Centrale Station or other points in the city, take a bus that stops near Via Lucana. From Via Lucana, walk for a few minutes following signs to Sasso Caveoso and Chiesa di San Pietro Caveoso. Casa Grotta is located in Vico Solitario. A single bus ticket costs €0.80 - €1.50.
